River Stour Dedham SUP Trip (13/06)

WHAT TO EXPECT
Date: Saturday 13 June On the water: 9.30am - 3pm Step into Constable Country with this beautiful countryside paddle. The river is stunning with clear waters as we pass through lovely stretches of open countryside from Dedham to Cattawade. Plus, if we're lucky, the cows might be in the river with us! This really is one of the South-East’s best for countryside views. We'll also get the opportunity to visit Flatford Mill which is steeped in history and (most importantly) has a delicious cafe where we will spend time grabbing some coffees by the water. This is a there/back 11km paddle, perfect for leisurely day on the water with plenty of stops! The Suffolk Stour winds gently through meadows, historic villages and peaceful farmland, making it perfect for relaxed touring and soaking up the landscape. One for lovers of classic English river scenery. ____ Our trips are for anyone to join, as long as you are comfortable with the type of water and conditions as described above. We welcome you onto trips even if you've done the route before - we often have paddlers repeat a trip just because they loved the day out! They're all about paddling in beautiful spots with others who are happiest outdoors too! If you're unsure if this trip is for you, or wish to double check your suitability for it, just reach out and we're happy to help!
