A great intro to river touring! Bit of pace, portages and plenty of fun!
WHAT TO EXPECT
Date: Sunday 14 June Time: 4.30pm - 8pm Extend the weekend with Sunday afternoon on the water! Get ready for a point-to-point paddle from Tonbridge to Yalding! This one feels like a proper little journey – 13km in fact! We will have bit of pace paddling this one, so that we make our finish line within a few hours, so bear your own ability in mind please. We’ll follow the flow of the river, enjoy changing scenery in amongst portages a plenty too! Great intro to paddleboard touring - ideal if you like paddling with a sense of adventure! Please note: shuttles are not included - we will send out more information nearer the time on this! Reminders: > You must be able to self-rescue to join > Bring your own kit and equipment > Be 'on the water' ready by the start time > A valid Paddle UK membership is required (waterways licence & insurance) > At Bewl Water, a £10 launch fee or annual membership is required > 4% booking fee will be added at checkout
