WHAT TO EXPECT
Date: Saturday 04 July On the water: 9am - 3pm The River Thames is often a bucket list paddle to tick off yet why don't we partner that with some of its tributaries to see a whole different side of it? The houses and gardens we'll see from the water are spectacular as we paddle 16km of River Thames, St Patricks Stream and Hennerton Backwater. It's a recipe for a great day out by paddleboard! This route is a real mix of paddling - bigger sections of rivers and some adventure paddling ducking under willows and enjoying an easy ride with some faster flowing water – it’s the Thames, but not as you know it! ____ Our trips are for anyone to join, as long as you are comfortable with the type of water and conditions as described above. We welcome you onto trips even if you've done the route before - we often have paddlers repeat a trip just because they loved the day out! They're all about paddling in beautiful spots with others who are happiest outdoors too! If you're unsure if this trip is for you, or wish to double check your suitability for it, just reach out and we're happy to help! Reminders: > You must be able to self-rescue to join > Bring your own kit and equipment > Be 'on the water' ready by the start time > A valid Paddle UK membership is required (waterways licence & insurance) > If you are booking accommodation, ensure it's fully cancellable up to 24 hours prior > 4% booking fee will be added at checkout
