Team challenges, map reading and exploring the whole lake in teams.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Date: Sunday 18 June Time: 9.30am - 12pm Race Across the World – Paddle Cabin style! You’ll be set off on a challenge in teams to find tags dotted across the lake, marked on your maps provided. Think paddleboarding meets strategy meets friendly competition! You’ll explore the entire lake of Bewl Water in the group you’re allocated in so it’s the perfect chance to meet new people! You’ll be crossing the lake in lots of ways, so some experience paddling in wind is going to be needed for this one. Reminders: > You must be able to self-rescue to join > Bring your own kit and equipment > Be 'on the water' ready by the start time > A valid Paddle UK membership is required (waterways licence & insurance) > At Bewl Water, a £10 launch fee or annual membership is required > 4% booking fee will be added at checkout
